Viamed Salud has been legally advised by RLD, specialists in M&A and Commercial Law, in the purchase of the Alxen Clinics in Logroño.
· Viamed Salud reinforces and expands the group's health offer in La Rioja thanks to the complementarity of specialties between the Alxen Clinics and the Viamed los Manzanos Hospital in La Rioja.
Madrid, July 1st, 2022.- RLD has advised Viamed Salud, one of the leading hospital groups in the national market, in the purchase of 100% of the Alxen Clinics, following the agreement reached with the founding doctors of the clinics, who will continue in the daily management of the sanitary center.
This new acquisition by Viamed Salud seeks to reinforce and expand the health offer in La Rioja due to the combination and complementarity of existing specialties, facilities and technological means between the Alxen Clinics and the Viamed Los Manzanos Hospital in La Rioja, thus forming a comprehensive health offer.
The Alxen Clinics are specialized in 3 specific areas:
- reference center in the care of women's health and fertility in La Rioja. - multifunctional center specializing in medical-surgical specialties such as dermatology, paediatrics, pediatric neurology and otolaryngology, among others. - specialized sports medicine center.
The combination of the healthcare potential of the Alxen Clinic with a first-class hospital such as Viamed Los Manzanos allows the Riojan group to offer a comprehensive healthcare offer, as well as to undertake a new phase of expansion in some of these specialties.
This incorporation joins the offer that Viamed has in La Rioja together with the Viamed Los Manzanos and Valvanera Hospitals, in Logroño, Virgen del Carmen, in Calahorra, the Los Jazmines de Haro Socio-Health Center and the Los Manzanos Medical Center.
This purchase operation has had the advice of RLD, an advisory firm in charge of advising and executing the vast majority of Viamed Salud's purchase and sale operations in Spain since its creation in 2001.
